Fuel surcharge

Significant increase during last year caused bigger costs for companies that offer transport services. We have to lead from a further increase in the fuel costs in the future which can\'t be calculated in advance. Due to the fact that we can cover the cost increase only partly by rationalization, we have to consider the new cost situation in our current price calculation. Therefore GLS Poland as many other transport companies have been integrating with their price lists fuel surcharge which takes into consideration fuel price increases.

With regards to the above described situation, General Logistics Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. has also implemented fuel surcharge, which as of 1 September 2005, is calculated and added to charges for transport product and services.

Fuel surcharge implemented by General Logistics Systems Poland is calculated as weighted-average of fuel price communicated by PKN Orlen and Lotos Group, taking into consideration percentage share of those companies in the market.

Due to often changes of fuel prices, it will help to avoid changes in the price list of General Logistics Systems Poland.

In order to assure clear communication, fuel surcharge will be shown as a separate position on the invoice.

Current fuel surcharge factor per given month is communicated at the beginning of each month.
